Program Overview
Building Futures for Augusta's Youth
READY4LIFE RELATE is New Bethlehem Community Center's newest evidence-based youth development program — funded by a 5-year grant from the Administration for Children & Families. It is designed for young people in Burke, Columbia, McDuffie, and Richmond Counties who are navigating the critical transition from adolescence to adulthood.
Participants engage in structured, interactive sessions that build real-world life skills, foster personal growth, and open doors to education and employment. Every module is practical, hands-on, and directly applicable to the challenges teens face today.

How It Works
Program Schedule
Ready4Life RELATE is an 18–20 instructional hour program delivered over a two-week period for youth and young adults ages 12–24. Partner sites may choose between a 6-day program, approximately 3 hours to 3 hours 20 minutes per day, or an 8-day program, approximately 2 hours 15 minutes to 2.5 hours per day. Snacks are provided during training sessions.

Connecting participants to community services and support systems as needed.
Community Reach
Ready4Life in the Community
Ready4Life is reaching young people throughout our community through partnerships with local schools and youth-serving organizations. Current program partners and service sites include Youth Challenge Academy, Richmond County Alternative Education Center at Morgan Road, and participating Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Augusta locations.

Partner With Us to Host a Training Site
READY4LIFE RELATE is designed to be delivered at your location — schools, churches, youth centers, and community organizations in Burke, Columbia, McDuffie, and Richmond Counties are invited to partner with NBCC to bring this program to your students.
As a partner, your organization will:
- Collect parent/guardian consent forms
- Coordinate student enrollment & scheduling
- Partner with NBCC on delivery logistics
Upon completion of program, Agency partner receives $1,000 per session — up to $10,000 per year.
